Production Project B

For Project B, I have chosen to do question 3 - a critique on a video service (youtube). The reason for this is because of the immense social alienation that has within a larger denomination of society as a result of this new accessibility of the video services that are available on the internet.

This Internet site, EDs-film-show, is a beginners guide to exploring what ‘Experimental’ short films are like and directs interested visitors to the site to further theoretical information on this area of film making. The philosophy behind creating EDs-film-show this way is, that anyone who log onto the internet are automatically interacting with the world through there fingertips so by providing alternative pathways to other works on the topic this site will give a practical performance for those interested and will in reaction lead them to expand on a better understanding of what they are presented with on EDs-film-show.

   Using the html snippets and links to other sites is the main way that this process functions. Creating this site on ‘iweb’ made it an easy and straight forward process which is reflected in the structure of the lay-out. A simple home page that introduces the viewer to the a theme that emulates a creative platform and shows a short snippet of an alternative style of film. The film defies the laws   

of gravity by displaying smoke like substances streaming across the screen. This is the base point for the viewer in that the home page contains key links to other significant film sites and good reference points for film theory. Following through the site you are introduced more footage of a verity of peoples creative works and segments of theories on ‘experimental film’. By putting some of my own work on the site in an attempt to invite the audience of the site to feel free to comment on what is displayed and prompt them to display there own work, which is why a blog page was chosen.

   The size of the content on this site was no major issue. It played out as being beneficial in the end as it called for more displaying options and site accessories to applied which contributes to overall presentation and expansion of content.   

I have been looking through current affairs sites and tagged them for my Production project - A. The area of the 'War on terror' is the main focus. Investigating the studies into harsh punishment and an equal retaliation of inhumanity as a method of criminal punishment. Or, Fear trial through the Adversarial legal system.

First Blog EVER!

This is my first blog after opening up three new blogs. I never realized how out i the loop of what has been going on in the world until i saw just how many people are online and things they talk about. I feel like i have to spend all my time looking at as many blogs as i can to try and catch up with everyone. lets see how that goes.
